Oxford's Jungle Book Kids

The journey began three years ago, when Oxford Elementary recieved a grant from Playhouse Square and Disney Musicals in Schools to develop a musical theater program. Through this partnership, Oxford has engaged more than 50 students a year in a wonderful theatrical learning experience. As the program has expanded, at Oxford, it has become an avenue to identify elementary students gifted in the arts and a week long immersive summer camp experience, as well as a spring musical.
During the last two years, we've preformed Lion King Kids and Aladdin Kids to excited audience, instilling a love of musical theater in our cast and crew. This year, we continue the tradition with Jungle Book Kids! Our amazing Jungle Book Kids cast and crew began working in October to prepare for our shows - Thursday, March 22nd and Friday, March 23rd at 7:00pm and, also, Saturday, March 24th at 2:00pm.
Our past shows wouldn't have been possible without the generous contributions of so many. We cannot thank you enough for making this dream a reality. When we began in October 2015, we started with zero dollars and through fundraising campaigns have created a sustainable musical theater program for our students. This year, our goal is to raise enough money to purchase next year's show kit to keep the tradition going. Please know that your donation is helping build a legacy at Oxford Elementary for years to come.
