I am running to Oxford Half Marathon 2025 to raise money for Oxford Phoenix FC.
Oxford Phoenix FC, run by Asylum Welcome, is a football team whose men’s team plays in the Oxfordshire Senior League. The focus of the team is to give an opportunity for refugees, asylum seekers, and displaced young people. We have now been running for nearly five years!
We have recently set up a women’s team and we are looking to seeing this grow just like the men’s team has.
Unfortunately, the project is struggling to continue running due to the difficult funding climate, so an injection of support would be amazing to keep the project running into 2026.
This project is so important to our participants and we would love you to help keep it ‘running’!
