A few months ago my niece Merrin surprised her mother (and us all) with an acceptance letter for a summer program in Neurology at Oxford University.   Her mom has been working 7 days a week for months to help make the $10,000 price for the program.  She is an incredible young woman who has a very bright future ahead of her. I am proud to be her uncle.   She is an avid high school debater and has competed numerous district, county, and state debates. She has a keen eye and natural talent for creating artistic drawings and portraits.  Her dream is to become a neuroscientist.  Watching her grow into this really intelligent, humble, and compassionate young woman gives me hope for the future of this troubled world of ours.  
The program starts August 2nd, 2019.  Anything you may wish to donate could help her achieve this goal of going to her dream school and this very unique program. I updated the goal of $2000 to reflect the room and board fees. She will be staying at lady Margret Hall, named after Henry Tudors mother.
