Dear friends, family, Charger nation, and fellow community members,
Most of you have probably heard the devastation that struck our community and broke our hearts. We are devastated for the Oxenreider family and the tragic loss of their 14 year old son, Alex.
Alex was always on the go and always a little on the ornery side. His sense of humor always kept those around him smiling. Yesterday afternoon, Alex was outside enjoying the beautiful weather like any outdoorsy 14 year old boy would be. He was riding a 4-wheeler and had an accident that tragically took his life.
Alex attended 8th grade at Chariton Middle School. Several 8th grade parents wondered or asked, "What can I do?" Those questions began the collaborative efforts for a few 8th grade moms to develop this page.
Maybe you're asking the same question? Death is rarely something we expect and the sudden loss of a child is even worse. Therefore, we are reaching out in hopes that you'll be able to help alleviate some of the financial burden off of David & Carrie's shoulders. Sadly enough, the most painful goodbyes are the ones that are left unsaid and never explained. Please keep David, Carrie and Carson in your prayers in the days, weeks and months ahead. We truly appreciate your generosity and we know they will too.
