As many of you know, I LOVE band. This year for the second time I auditioned for and actually made the Blue Devils Drum and Bugle Corps. It took more than a year of practicing, but it payed off when I became the 12th person from Louisiana to ever make the BD hornline. My experience with them so far has been amazing, and the best is yet to come! It is quite expensive to fly out to Concord, CA once a month on top of tour fees, but it is definitely worth it. I've been working hard to save money mostly from playing with Bengal Brass (the LSU basketball band), playing at churches, and giving private lessons at a local high school this semester. Any little donation you could make would help me tremendously, and I'll be sure to keep everyone updated on my adventures this summer.
