The Owls Head General Store has been a vital part of this small mid coast Maine community for generations. With the popularity of our kitchen's homemade indulgences, including the internationally famous "Seven Napkin Burger," our little postage stamp sized septic system went kaput. 

We are going to be required to install a new system.  We are lovingly referring to this as our platinum coated, diamond encrusted effluent eliminator, as the price tag is $65,000. We could not make this up in burger sales over the next several decades,but we have managed to raise a good portion on our own. 

We need to do this in order to open our doors again, to provide some incredibly lovely and loyal employees with jobs, and to be there for our community of neighbors from near and very, very far.
