This winter, OwlCappella will be recording a full-length studio album and is asking for your support to complete this project.
Given the current global situation and the precautions that must be taken during these times, we wanted to safely continue making music for the people that listen and support us and complete a whole, recorded collection of songs that have a lot of hard work behind them.
However, these sorts of recordings often require a good amount of money and can be quite expensive, and that is why we are asking for your support to help us raise the funds needed to complete this project. The money will be used for professionally mixing and mastering the album, in addition to attaining the legal rights required to stream it on services like Spotify, Apple Music, etc.
Of course, we understand the tough financial situation many individuals and families are facing right now, which is why we ask that those who can do so only donate what they are able to.
In addition, we wanted to help contribute to the effort to fight against the health crisis going on right now all over the world, which is why we will be donating 1/3 of all the money we raise to GlobalGiving's Coronavirus Relief Fund. GlobalGiving is a non-profit that raises money for various causes around the world, and as of right now, they have raised over $11.2 million for direct COVID relief. This money is used to provide resources to medical professionals and the communities in which they serve, deliver essential items to older individuals and struggling families, and many more critical actions that must be taken to alleviate the effects of this pandemic everywhere. OwlCappella has not recorded since our last EP, OwlCap, which stands as a big accomplishment for us as a group. We hope to further expand our list of recorded songs and create a body of music that we are proud of and can share excitedly with you all.
