Help My Cat Recover From a Brutal Attack — We Need One More Life-Saving Surgery
My 2.5-year-old Ragdoll cat, ZMan was intentionally attacked in a deeply traumatic event. He now needs another $6,000 surgery to survive — bringing his total medical costs to over $21,000.
What Happened:
On May 10, 2025, my home was broken into while I stepped out briefly to take a friend home. In that short time, everything changed.
My cat was viciously attacked by an owl (evidence found in my vacuum cleaner) and left bleeding, with multiple fractures to his face and a hole in the roof of his mouth (hard palate), making it impossible for him to eat or drink.
I rushed him to the emergency vet, where they stabilized him — but his first surgery was botched. He’s since needed a corrective surgery, a CT scan, and now faces another critical procedure to save his life.
The Backstory:
When my home was broken into, it was clear the attackers tried to clean up the scene. But they missed the vacuum, which was filled with feathers and my cat’s bloodied fur.
The physical and emotional toll has been immense. My cat and I are both traumatized. I’ve been unable to work for over 8 weeks, and we were forced to relocate for our safety.
Why I’m Asking for Help:
I never imagined needing to make a post like this. But I’m watching my cat suffer — not because of an accident, but because of a targeted act of cruelty. I’ve done everything I can, and now I’m humbly asking for your help to give him a fighting chance.
Every donation — no matter how small — helps us get one step closer to recovery and safety.
If you can’t donate, sharing this story means the world. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading and supporting us.
Thank you for your compassion and concern to this traumatic situation..
