Hello!

My name is Owen Stockey and I am in 8th grade at South Park Middle School. Since the 4th grade, I have been playing percussion and for the last year, I have been playing with the Pittsburgh Youth Philharmonic Orchestra (PYPO). I love how PYPO challenges and pushes me musically.

Next July, my youth orchestra is going on a ten-day concert tour to Italy. It’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to experience a whole new culture, perform three concerts for international audiences, and learn about music history in cities like Venice, Cremona, Florence, and Bologna. I’m especially excited for the food!

I’m hoping to raise $5000 to help cover my airfare, lodging, and transportation while in Italy. Any amount you are able to contribute is appreciated. I look forward to sharing pictures and stories from our concert tour with you all next summer!

Sincerely,

Owen
