Owen Thomas Klein passed peacefully in the arms of his loving parents, Zachary and Jennifer (Mobley) Klein, on July 8, 2015, at the Mercy Medical Center, Des Moines, Iowa.Owen Thomas Klein was born May 3, 2015, at Mercy Medical Center-North Iowa, in Mason City.
During his brief visit on Earth, Owen brought joy and happiness to his family. He and his brother Ethan shared special moments together. They had their own way of communicating and Ethan loved being Owen's big brother helping mom and dad care for him.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 11, 2015, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Mason City, with the Rev. Kathy Graves officiating.
Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Mason City.
Visitation will be Friday from 5-7 p.m. at Hogan-Bremer-Moore Colonial Chapel, 126 Third St. N.E., Mason City, and then one hour before the service on Saturday at the church.
He is survived by his parents Zachary and Jennifer Klein, Mason City; his brother Ethan Klein, Mason City; maternal grandparents Bruce and Donna Mobley, Mason City; paternal grandparents Ernie and Teresa Klein, Clear Lake; his uncles Chris (Kayla) Mobley, Sparta, Wisconsin, Nick Klein, Des Moines and Jake Klein, Clear Lake, maternal great-grandparents Donna Mae Mobley, Osage, and Jackie Trout, Osage; paternal great-grandparents Larry and Linda Barlow, Clear Lake and Izetta Weaver, Clear Lake; paternal great-great-grandmothers Doris Barlow and Pearl Miller, Clear Lake.
He was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandfather, Richard Mobley; maternal great-grandfather Milton E. Trout; maternal cousin, Cody Mobley; paternal great aunt, Janeice Treloar; paternal great-grandfathers Gerald Klein and Harold Weaver and paternal great-great-grandfathers Dale Barlow and Lavern Miller.
