Selena and Frankie want to express how truly moved they are by the outpouring of care, love, messages, and financial support they have received. Every act of kindness has touched their hearts, and they are deeply grateful.

supporting Owen, Selena & Frankie Through Owen’s End-Stage Pancreatic Cancer Journey

Owen Smith, aged 44, was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer two years ago. Throughout this incredibly challenging journey, he has received outstanding care and unwavering support from his medical team, whose compassion and expertise have made a profound difference.

Selena, Owen’s devoted wife, works in the endoscopy department, supported by her amazing colleagues who have shown such kindness throughout this journey.

It is with deep sorrow that we share Owen has now reached the end stage of his battle. He is currently receiving palliative care at home, where Selena is lovingly caring for him around the clock. By his side always is their precious daughter Frankie —the absolute light of Owen’s life.

Owen’s illness has meant he has been unable to work for some time, and Selena’s ability to work has also been greatly reduced as she supports him through this incredibly difficult period. As a result, financial pressures are continuing to mount.

Our goal is to raise $20,000 to help ease this burden—assisting with essential expenses, providing comfort, and allowing Selena and Frankie the space to focus on what matters most: being together with Owen without added worry.
