Hello everyone,
My name is Owen Martin, and I am thrilled to announce that I have earned a spot on the Canadian national team by winning the U23 79 kg category at the Canadian World Team Trials in Calgary, Alberta! Additionally, I was honored to be named the Most Outstanding Wrestler of the Tournament as well! These achievements have given me the incredible opportunity to compete at both the Pan American Championships in Rionegro, Colombia and the World Championships in Tirana, Albania this year.
Competing at these prestigious events is an honor, and I am determined to represent Canada with pride and excellence on the world stage. However, achieving this goal comes with significant financial challenges. Being that both events are self funded. Travel expenses, accommodation, training, and competition fees all add up quickly. That’s why I’m reaching out to my friends, family, and supporters to ask for your help.
