CENIZO needs your help
This is CENIZO, he is a very lucky dog to have been rescued after roaming the streets alone and afraid....at only 9.5 pounds, he came into the care of Safehome Animal Rescue 12 days ago, but he has since been admitted into the hospital 2 days ago after not eating and vomitting for more than 6 days...his foster mom has been working on him, but he is literally starving himself to death.....he has a bacterial infection that he may not survive if his body does not accept food soon...we have also called for more xrays to make sure there are no foreign bodies or anything else going on...we have done many tests and he is being forcefed and on a number of medications...he is vomitting through the anti naseau injections...without all of this vet care, CENIZO would have already died of starvation...his bloodwork today shows that his organs have not started shutting down yet so he has a chance to make it through this alive...he has already lost more than 1 pound of his tiny little body...
As a small independant rescue effort, Safehome Animal Rescue does not have reserve funds for things like this...usually taking on a special needs dog is planned and mapped out when we can financially accommodate...this was not planned but CENIZO still needs the medical care he is recieving to survive!!
We have currently topped $1000 in vet bills for him and this will only grow after today, so we are aksing to raise 1500$ as we think his vetting will go over that amount as well...this can be verified by our vet at Beaches Animal Hospital in Toronto...they will need to put a feeding tube into our little man tomorrow if he will not start eating and that wil take hi bill even higher....he needs to keep eating so his organs do not shut down...he will die if this happens....please find it in your heart to help us pay his medical bills so we can continue to give him the medical support he needs....we have never put up a fundraiser like this before and we are asking you all to PLEASE HELP CENIZO....any amount will help, if you could skip your coffee tomorrow morning and donate to little CENIZO instead it could save his life...thank you
