Homeless and trying to raise money for a camper
Donation protected
Hello, I’m Amber and I’ve been homeless since January of this year, trying to get enough money for a camper. My parents got divorced last year, my mom has always been the one that kept our family together, but since then, everything’s been falling apart. My dad has always complained about working, paying bills, providing food, and all utility bills for us kids. 2022- end of 2024, I worked as a manager at Dominos overtime, 50hrs to even 60hr weeks, to pay bills that my dad refused to pay. On closing days, I got back at 3:00am, then my two sisters would be in their room watching tv as loud as possible and laughing, even upon asking for them to turn it down they’d turn it up louder, I never had a room and slept on the couch. Many nights I’d just sleep in my car as it was impossible to get rest. The one day I would have off work my dad would be standing over me, making me feel like the most miserable person in the world, calling me lazy and selfish. And I was the one he depended on to do everything around the house, even mowing! My sisters were never expected to do much and all the eldest did was dog sitting for a job. This year I was kicked out because I didn’t like my dad’s cult church, I was able to stay at a friend’s house but not for long. Now I’m just living in my car. With bills and everything my bank is running dry, the jobs I apply for are basically nonexistent, never getting back to me, my dad is also making me pay medical bills from last year as well, (which is illegal, he’s supposed to pay till I turn 21) and I’m honestly starting to loose all hope. If anyone is willing to help out I’d be beyond grateful!
