I’m fundraising to help bring my app, Oversees, to life — a tool designed to make studying or traveling abroad safer, easier, and less overwhelming.

This idea came from my own experiences (and the experiences of people I love) of how exciting, but also confusing and sometimes scary, it can be to be in a new country. Between language barriers, safety concerns, and simply trying to find the right resources, it’s easy to feel lost. I saw a real need for one place where travelers — especially students — can go for reliable information, safety features, and a sense of community.

The funds raised will go directly toward the things that make Oversees possible: legal protections, app development, translations, and early testing. This isn’t just about building an app — it’s about creating something that helps students, families, and travelers feel more confident and supported when they step into a new place!
