Overseas opportunity for Marcos Bravo
Donation protected
Marcos Bravo is a determined and mature 16-old Mexican-American high school student from Wenatchee, Wash. He is a very good student, who comes from a humble background, who also happens to be a supremely gifted and talented soccer player.
Marcos' dream is to attend college on a soccer scholarship and to become one of the first in his family to earn a college degree, while also playing the game he loves. But the COVID-19 pandemic has thrown a wrench into his dreams. The pandemic killed an opportunity to join one of the top youth clubs in the state that would get him to the next level, and now he is without a club or a soccer season.
Please help us send Marcos to a three-month Gap Year overseas soccer and academic program that begins Oct. 1. This unique academy setting will allow him to continue to sharpen his soccer and improve his college-prep skills instead of sitting on the sidelines during this pandemic.
The International Soccer Academy has identified Marcos as a special talent on the field and as a special human being off the field. They have determined Marcos has the maturity and the academic ability to handle a rigorous professional youth academy training program while also fulfilling his high school and college prep requirements. This three-month special GAP Year session will help set him apart when competitive soccer and college recruiting resume in the spring of 2021.

The PSPL Surf Academy has started an annual joint scholarship with the International Soccer Academy to help pay for the program. Every year, the two organizations will identify a top player from the Surf Academy, or from one of the clubs in the PSPL, to send to Spain. Both organizations have pledged money to seed the scholarship. Donations are tax deductible.
But we also seeking donations from the community to help defray the total costs. We need to raise $15,000 to cover the program and get Marcos to Mallorca, Spain, where the program is located. Marcos comes from a very modest financial background. His family is going to help but can't afford the entire fee. They know this is a special opportunity for their son that could change his life.
Every dollar raised goes directly to paying for the program and for the flight to Spain. We hope you consider helping a young man who is deserving of this opportunity to help himself, and ultimately his family.
Marcos is the kind of financially disadvantaged student who is easy to support. He is kind, considerate, self-less, he helps his family, and he studies hard at school. As a junior at Wenatchee High School, he is already taking Running Start college-prep classes. He is the kind of resident of the Wenatchee Valley that would make the community proud. He is a special talent and one we all are willing to help to reach his dream of going to college and playing college soccer on a scholarship.
Please help Marcos help himself and represent proudly the Wenatchee Valley, the youth soccer community, his high school and his family. Please contribute any amount you can.
Please donate to our inaugural International Soccer Academy scholarship. All donations are tax deductible.
We humbly thank you for your support!
