Hi, I’m Joey Carman, creator of Overlanding Bistro — a traveling outdoor cooking and storytelling series filmed from my 2004 Land Rover Discovery (Rover).

Overlanding Bistro is about more than the miles — it’s about connection.

Each episode blends food, film, and community, sharing the stories of the people I meet around the campfire, on the road, and across the map.

That means a full year on the road — over 10,000 miles of cooking, filming, and storytelling across America, with Rover as my rolling studio and home.

WHY I’M FUNDRAISING

This campaign isn’t about a single trip — it’s about keeping the fire alive for a full 2026 season of filming, travel, and storytelling.

Fuel + Maintenance for Rover — keeping the wheels turning across 20,000 + miles

Food + Supplies — for live cooking demos and on-the-road filming

Production Costs — batteries, editing gear, drone repairs, data storage
