Overcoming the L5 Injury Hurdle

Hi all! As some of you may know in 2023 I slipped on a curb and shattered my L5 plate. I had laminectomy surgery and after a few months went back to work. Fast forward 6 months and I'm back to barely able to stand and had to leave my job again. Since July 2024 ive been going to doctors after doctors. I've had PT , injections, epidurals and nothing has made it better and now my bones are just grinding together. I finally got approved for my new surgery to replace the plate on May 5th and blue cross canceled my insurance and surgery was off the table. I've now switch to medi-cal and I am set up with new doctors having to repeat this process. But since it's been so long I have used my disability claim and have to wait for long term which can take a minimum of 3-6 months. I just need some help with rent. Anything helps thank you!
