My name is Anda, and I’m reaching out from Bristol, Connecticut, during one of the most challenging times of my life. On July 23rd, 2025, I was admitted to the hospital after experiencing severe swelling in my foot. What started as a routine check quickly turned into a life-changing diagnosis: my kidneys are failing, and I’ve been on dialysis ever since. As the sole breadwinner for my family, this diagnosis has not only impacted my health but has also created overwhelming financial stress. I’ve been hospitalized for almost two months, and the mounting medical bills, combined with lost income, have made it impossible to keep up with my rent and utilities. My biggest fear is being evicted and having my belongings thrown out while I’m still in the hospital.


Despite these hardships, I’m doing my best to stay positive. Prayer and a deep dedication to getting better keep me going, even when things feel impossible. My family is devastated by this situation, especially my mother, who suffers from chronic depression. Living abroad without a support system has made this even harder for all of us. I need to recover and get my life back on track so I can return to work and be able to support myself again. Any contribution will bring relief and hope.
