Hi everyone, I’m Evan. I’m an trans man and I’ve been on testosterone for nine years, and at this point a hysterectomy is a medically necessary procedure for me. Each year I go without it increases my risk of reproductive cancers and other serious health issues, so this surgery is about protecting my long-term health and being able to live my life with a little more peace and safety.

I don’t have health insurance right now, and I’m working three service industry jobs just to keep up with basic bills. By the time rent, utilities, and groceries are covered, there’s very little left to put toward a surgery like this.
