"Over, Behind" Film Production!

Greetings! I am Shauna Garrett, a filmmaker based in Los Angeles, founder of Monday Routine Productions, LLC., and Director of the upcoming short thriller, “Over, Behind.” In this film, a mental health counselor is forced to unexpectedly come face-to-face with his demons at an inopportune time. This project exists for three main reasons: 1. To explore the dynamic between words and thought in the vacuum of mental health, 2. To provoke thought on how our minds are stimulated without external entertainment, and 3. To show a man of color, in a lead role, go on a frightening journey through himself [without getting killed off], and decide for ourselves whether he is better or worse having done so. “Over, Behind” is meant to not only entertain but to compel the audience to examine themselves on the effects of compartmentalization of trauma and fear. This is a time-honored issue that is more prevalent now than ever.

WE NEED YOUR HELP! Therefore, we humbly ask for your support in any capacity! We are aiming to film in the last week of July 2023, and we need to raise funding very rapidly to get this project off the ground. The tiers are fun and suggested amounts but we are deeply grateful for any contribution. We specifically need major expenses covered to provide fair compensation for fair labor wages, location costs, and gear rentals (in that order). Fair wages are our biggest value. We invite you to be a part of this incredible project and to partner with mental health advocacy in the city of Los Angeles, the United States, and wherever across the globe this film is seen.

The donation Tier Rewards are as follows (please read fully!):

PA Tier: $25 and under will receive a Monday Routine sticker

Talent Wrangler Tier: $50 will receive a Monday Routine sticker pack and a Monday Routine water bottle

Scripty Tier: $75-$150 will receive a printed poster, a Monday Routine sticker pack, and a Monday Routine water bottle

Grip and Electric: $275 will receive a Monday Routine t-shirt, printed poster, Monday Routine sticker pack, and a Monday Routine water bottle

Director’s Tier: $500 will receive Associate Producer credit, a Monday Routine t-shirt, a printed and SIGNED film poster, a Monday Routine sticker pack, a Monday Routine water bottle, and a special thanks credit in the film

Producer Tier: $1000 and above will receive Producer credit in the film, a Monday Routine t-shirt, printed and SIGNED poster, Monday Routine sticker pack, a Monday Routine water bottle, a special thanks credit in the film, be invited to set for 2 hours, and a first-access screening of the film upon completion.
