Outspoken: A Listening Project-Young Voices of BLM
Donation protected
IDEAs galvanizes theater-makers to take demonstrable action toward inclusion, diversity, equity, and accessibility.
Founded in the days following the murders of Ahmaud Arbery, Breonna Taylor and George Floyd, IDEAs started as a grassroots initiative by Denver actor Lisa Young, and now has nearly 2,000 members.
As we await approval for fiscal sponsorship, we need funds to GET THE WORK DONE:
*partnering teen activists with Black arts mentors to clarify and amplify the voices of the next generation
*building the infrastructure to sustain the organizational stamina needed to make real change
*producing work by theater artists whose lives have been woefully underrepresented and misrepresented on stage
*supporting theater leadership in transforming unjust and harmful systems
Your donation fuels the change you want to see.
