Hello friends, family and supporters,
Welcome to the OutofTouch fundraising page!
We are raising funds for a full production of the play, OutofTouch (written and directed by Joanna Simmons) at The Tank in 2022
The production is currently postponed, and we will add the dates here once we have them!
The funds will compensate the artists involved (actors, writer/director, lighting designer, booth tech),
and cover production costs (rehearsal space, costumes, props, publicity materials, production photos).
What is the play about?
A family drama with a violent twist, OutofTouch is searingly funny and honest. Jillian, fresh out of rehab, moves in with her recently divorced sister, Natalie. They host a dinner following the funeral of their cousin Paul's father. A surprise guest, their Uncle Robert throws the family into crisis when his criminal past comes to light. As the family swings between confrontation and denial, they come up against the question, "Is there such a thing as an unforgivable act?".
