Outer Roominations, now in its sixth year, is a site specific art festival located in rural humboldt county. This year, the festival takes place on August 1/2.

We are requesting public support in order to make this vibrant festival thrive!

Your support will do the following:

1) PAY ARTISTS AND CULTURE KEEPERS! (This is the goal closest to our hearts as we want the brilliant creatives who make Humboldt County the place we want to live to be able to keep making work. Did you know that all proceeds are divided amongst artists?

2) Pay for porta potties and land maintenance supplies: We are really just covering the basics in order to make it possible for the event to take place.

Every year we pay between 40-60 artists/musicians/performers to come out and create a brilliant and visionary landscape in relation to place and environment. Ticket sales help cover some costs but Outer Roominations did not receive funds from a prior source that offset the expenses, so we are turning to YOU, the people who love this event, to invest in this year's festival.

Outer Roominations offers many environments to explore: a bluff overlooking the Eel River valley and the ocean, meadows, forest, paths, stream. artists/performers/land use creatives/musicians inhabit a location or locations on the land and create a space to converse between art and environment.
