It took a long time for me to finally come around to crowdfunding, I've been scared to ask those of you who have supported me, monetarily, physically, emotionally, but I feel like time is running out for me to change my life.
In May of 2011, at the age of 16 I was involved in a car accident that left me paralyzed. Those of you who know me and have continued to follow my progress and lack of progress, will be glad to know that your persistence in being there for me has allowed me to reach out and go for the things I want because I know I'm not alone and that I have support.

I decided to start this campaign because the Freedom Chair Pro is something we've looked at for a long time, and something I eventually wanted to be able to purchase myself. But I won't lie to you, I wouldn't be here if I thought I had many other options. 
Before the accident, I was like any other kid, and I LOVED sports, I ADORED being outside, it really truly was freedom. I feel like I've become a shell of that person and I think that this can help give me back something I've missed for so, so long.
So long story short, this GoFundMe campaign is to raise money for a wheelchair that can help give me back something that I've been missing for the last almost nine long years. This chair is revolutionary.  

The reason that I cannot afford to purchase this wheelchair myself is hard for me to share, but I'm going to, because I need help. And I hate that I do.  However, my everyday wheelchair need to be replaced, so of course that is the focus for our finances and insurance companies.  It is quite expensive and can be a lengthy process. that is our current main focus,
