Outdoor Club at John O'Connell H.S

John O'Connell High School, in San Francisco's Mission District, needs funding for our Outdoor Club. We are a small, urban public high school and many of our students haven't had much opportunity to experience the great outdoors.

Our club has been going strong for five years, but our funding source dried up at the end of last year. Help our students take part (many for the first time ever!) in some of these amazing activities:

- Hiking
- Surfing
- Backpacking and Camping
- Snowshoeing
- Skiing and snowboarding
- Whitewater rafting
- Rock climbing 

Many of the organizations we work with supply much of the equipment necessary, but we still need your support with funding for transportation, food, miscellaneous equipment, and some registration fees for certain activities. 

If you think these kinds of experiences are important, please donate! You will be giving students experiences they will remember for a lifetime.
