Outdoor Climbing Frame for Banks Lane Infants

In keeping with our healthy school approaches, children will be taking part in the Smile for a Mile on Friday 30th April.
As we are unable to organise our usual fundraising events such as our annual Sponsored Walk, we would like to use this opportunity to raise funds for school, whilst promoting fitness and celebrating children’s participation and effort. Each child will receive a Smile for a Mile Certificate.
We would really like to develop our outdoor curriculum resources in order to promote physical development and maximise outdoor opportunities but will require at least £20000 to put plans into action. We have been able to redirect some funds from PE and Sports events which have been cancelled due to Covid.
Our Sponsored Walk is usually our biggest annual fundraiser. We are hoping that by sponsoring your child in our Smile for a Mile that you can help us raise £5000 to purchase an outdoor climbing frame for our ‘quad’ area.
How can you help?
DONATE – Instead of completing sponsor forms, we ask for you to donate a contribution in recognition of your child’s effort in our Smile for a Mile event via our Gofundme page.
SHARE - Please share our Gofundme page/ link with friends and family (via social media/ text/ WhatsApp) and ask them to donate to help us to reach our target.
MATCH FUNDING - We are also looking for parents who work for companies that participate in Match funding. Companies including Asda, Morrison’s may contribute to our fundraising event or even match the total amount of money we raise!
