Fergus Falls Outdoor Basketball Courts

The Fergus Falls Backcourt Club is excited to announce that we are bringing two outdoor basketball courts to Fergus Falls! The courts will be centrally located so they will be easily accessible to students and all community members. Our goal is to raise $150,000 to fund this project and to break ground on the courts in the summer of 2022.
Who will benefit from the courts:
The entire community will benefit from these courts! The courts will be available for everyone to use, free of charge. Below are a few examples of groups that will benefit.
Youth Basketball Teams and School Teams: Teams will be able to use the courts for practice and games when indoor courts are not available. This will be especially beneficial during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Men’s and Women’s Leagues: The courts could serve as a possible location for adult basketball leagues.
Youth Summer Basketball Camps and Skill Sessions: Kindergarten through varsity players attend camps and skills sessions throughout the summer. The additional courts could provide the opportunity to play outside and to accommodate larger groups of kids.
Outdoor Summer Tournaments and Events: The courts could provide a location for potential 3on3 tournaments or other events that would bring people and business to Fergus Falls
Families: People will be able to use the courts for a fun and healthy outing with family and friends.
Donations can be made through this GoFundMe, mailed to the FF Backcourt Club to PO Box 361 Fergus Falls, MN 56537, or dropped off at American Federal Bank in Fergus Falls (attn: Chris Marvel).
