Hi! My name is MacKenza Russell, and I’m currently a junior in high school. I’ve always dreamed of studying abroad and experiencing life in another country, learning about new cultures, meeting people from around the world, and growing into a more independent, open-minded person. I’ve recently been accepted to participate in an exchange year for 2026–2027, and I’m beyond excited for this opportunity!

Unfortunately, without financial support, I won’t be able to make this dream a reality. My mom works hard as a server at Crazy Horse, and my dad is a WTL at MillerKnoll. They’ve always done their best to support me and my goals, but the cost of the exchange program is more than we can manage on our own. Between program fees, travel expenses, and other costs, I’m turning to my community, friends, and anyone who believes in helping young people chase their dreams — to ask for your support.

This exchange isn’t just about travel — it’s about growth. I want to immerse myself in another culture, represent my hometown and school, and bring back everything I learn to share with others. I believe this experience will help me become more confident, compassionate, and globally aware — skills that will stay with me for life.
