Due to unforeseen circumstances out of our control Jeremiah Phillips went into UCLA for a routine procedure to remove polyps from his stomach. This outpatient procedure has turned into a medical nightmare. The first surgery we now know that there was a hole caused by the surgeon was very large in which was not detected for 2 days. Jeremiah had to undergo another surgery which resulted in a full open abdominal surgery with repair to abdominal wall. His abdomen is not closed, 3 drains had to be placed along with a feeding tube. This has set our family up for financial burden due to Jeremiah being in UCLA and our home, careers, family and friends are all in Bakersfield. Brandi will be by Jeremiah's side throughout this nightmare and will need help with financial support for bills, gas, and food since neither will be working anyone willing to help and any amount great or small.
