Out Pacing Scleroderma

I'm competing in my first half-marathon at the iconic Melbourne Marathon on 15 October 2017. I'm following the 12-week Steve Monagetti beginners half marathon training programme. Garmin and Spotify have been my running partners keeping the motivation flowing to help me through the rigorous training from long runs to Fartlek runs of 14km- a big jump from my lazy 2 km West Hobart runs! It's going well and I'm pleased with my progress.
Its been two years today that our good friend, Annette and her three boys lost their husband and Dad, Brett to Scleroderma. It's a rare disease that doesn't get a lot of funding or profile. Annette established "SOS for Johnno"  to financially assist people managing life with Scleroderma. This is the link to the site and Annette and her family's journey www.facebook.com/SOSforJohnno/
I want to raise money for 'SOS for Johnno" by competing in the Melbourne half-marathon. My business Hill Street Psychology  will meet the costs of airfares and registration fee so I can run the marathon to raise money.
I would love to raise  $5000.00 during the next 8 weeks. It would be great if you could make a donation to make a difference. A big thank you!
