Some days I can’t even walk. I’m just trying to keep my home while doctors and specialists search for answers.
Hi, my name is Tim. I’ve been battling a painful and unexplained condition affecting my feet and ankle. I’ve been in and out of the hospital and meeting with specialists, trying to figure out what’s wrong, but so far, nothing has been diagnosed.
I work as a server, and I’m not asking to be completely dependent — I still work when I can. Some days I’m pushing through excruciating pain just to make it through a shift, and other days I wake up and physically can’t walk without severe pain, which means losing the shift entirely. I’ve still been working the days I’m able, but with the unpredictable pain and missed shifts, I can’t keep up on rent alone.
I’ve always been independent and responsible, paying my bills on time and taking care of myself. But this condition has taken its toll, and now I’m at real risk of losing my home. All I want is to keep my place to live until I can get the answers and treatment I need to get back to full strength.
Why I Need Help Now:
Your support will help me cover:
Rent and utilities to keep my home while I work toward a diagnosis and recovery
My Goal:
My goal is $4,300, which will catch me up on past-due rent, cover next month’s rent, and help with basic utilities so I can keep my home while I work toward getting answers and back to consistent hours. Any amount you can give will help me stay stable and secure until I can get back to consistent work.
Thank you for your kindness, support, and for sharing my story.
