Out of the Rubble, Hope Blooms

My name is Ashraf Hashim Kamil Abdel Wahed. I live in the Gaza Strip and I am the head of a family of seven. We have been displaced multiple times within the city due to constant hunger, fear, shelling, fire belts everywhere, and attempts to escape from one place to another. We specifically headed south to Khan Younis and then Rafah. After weeks of thinking about creating this link and asking for donations to save my family from the shelling, I decided to do so.

My family needs to leave Gaza because of the war. We need to live in safety and peace because everything is unsuitable for human life.

• My son Akram lost his job due to the complete destruction of his workplace.

• My daughter Amira graduated from high school with a GPA of 88% but was unable to continue her university studies due to the complete destruction of the university.

• My son Adham has two children, Karen and Ashraf, who have been exposed to fear and their home has been completely destroyed.

In order for me and my family to travel, we must pay a large sum of money called "coordination" to leave the Gaza Strip through the Rafah land crossing. Every donation, regardless of size, will make a big difference in the safety of my family.
