On May 2nd, Baby Jett was flown to UC Davis from the Mt. Shasta Mercy Medical Center. He and Emily have been staying in the PICU at UC Davis since. Jett is a very sick baby right now. He's only 11 months old and fighting a very rare and aggressive infection that is attacking his body. Jett also is fighting MRSA. The infection does not want to let him go. He's had two surgeries already and has had 5 tubes places in his body draining the infection. He has been on a ventilator since the day he was brought into the hospital. The night he was brought to the hospital, he coded during intubation. This has been an awful roller coaster ride for our Jett and Emma. The latest obstacle is that there is blood in Jett's ventilator tubes and they are unsure why. Emma appreciates so much all of the thoughts and prayers coming in from all over the place. Keep sending your positive thoughts this way <3 I started this gofundme in hopes of helping Emma pay for food, parking and gas while she's staying at the hospital with Jett. When Jett beats this infection and is allowed home, he'll have to come back to UC Davis for multiple checkups and visits with the infection disease doctors and many others. For those of you who don't know, Emma and Jett live about 4 hours from Sacramento (in Yreka) where they'd have to travel to. Emma (thankfully, so she is able to stay by his side) is not working at the moment so truly anything will help her and Jett at this time. Thank you all so much.
