It Takes a Village (Errol/Liz)
Spende geschützt
As many of you probably are aware, Liz and Errol have been expecting their second child (a son) in February. Sometimes, however, things do not work out as planned.
Sunday, November 20th, Liz's water broke and she was taken to CPMC. She got about 1/2 way through a 48-hour steroid and drug treatment designed to help the baby with organ development and with hopes to stop the labor before little man put his foot down (quite literally), and the hospital decided a C-section was necessary.
Baby Boy (need some time on the name! ;)) made his appearance November 21st at 1:07PM weighing in at a petite 3 lbs. He was born breathing on his own which is amazing!
I'll be sure to provide updates, but what we know now is that the baby is expected to live at the NICU at the hospital until at least the end of December, if not into 2017.
Liz, Errol and Olivia are going to need support. Medical bills will be costly, and Liz is the bread winner in her household and will be out of work for an extended period of time.
We all know it takes a village to raise a family, and when we face hardships, our village is needed most.
Please consider making a donation to support the family as they navigate these unchartered waters.
Will keep updates posted here! Thank you in advance!
