The Rusty Cogs Vex Robotics Team

The 'Rusty Cogs' are a team of Year 8 pupils at St Joseph's Middle School who this week, have taken part in the Vex Robotics competitions at both Newcastle University and The Discovery Museum. The team which compromises of 1 girl and 5 boys, have worked incredibly hard over the last few months, which was proven this week when they won multiple categories culminating in securing a place at the national finals in Telford in just two weeks time!.

To make this trip possible, we are seeking funding to cover transport and accommodation for six pupils and two staff members. So, if you are able to contribute we would be incredibly grateful.

Any support, big or small, will help The Rusty Cogs represent our school on the national stage - we can't do this without you!
