We are Camila and Valeria, two Australian sisters born in Venezuela and we are Aussie All-Stars!
Aussie All-Stars is an elite musical theatre youth group conformed by kids chosen among hundreds of applicants from all over Australia.
In January 2023 we will be traveling to New York City to train on Broadway, we will then be traveling to Atlanta to represent Australia at the Junior Theatre Festival, the world’s biggest celebration of young people performing musical theater. Then we finish the trip in LA, where we’ll be taking acting masterclasses.
Both of us have had a strong passion for the performing arts since we were little. We dream of being professional performers after we finish school. Broadway has been a dream and it is the part of the trip we are looking forward to the most. To be able to go and be part of Broadway and train with people from the industry means the world to both of us.
To make all this happen we are reaching out to our Australian and Latino communities for support.
We’re both doing all we can to raise the funds needed to cover the course fees. We both have jobs and have been saving like crazy. Our family has also helped us as much as possible and whilst we have covered part of the cost we can’t do it alone. With your support, we will be able to make our dream come true and take a huge step closer towards the career of our dreams.
All our donors will be invited to follow us on our journey and be part of it. We’ll be doing this together with you and we will be proudly representing YOU, Australia, and ALL the Latino community, particularly Latino youth throughout this journey.
We also want to prove to young people from all backgrounds that you too can achieve your dreams!
