Our warrior woman Zoe!

I have made this go fund me to try help my beautiful friend Zoe. She is struggling on every level and I need to do something, she needs our help!

Zoe has been fighting leukaemia for just over 12 months. She was diagnosed on Mother’s Day 2022.

She had a donor stem cell transplant in August 2022 amazingly her brother was a perfect match as a donor! Unfortunately the transplant was unsuccessful due to her having chromosomes that overrode the new stem cells and Zoe relapsed in January 2023 and was told that no further chemotherapy could be given.

Then she had good news that she was eligible for a special medical trial drug late January 2023.

Only 2 people in Western Australia qualified and 361 patients globally. This opportunity was exciting for us all, and it helped to put her back in remission but this trial drug wasn't a long term treatment or a cure..

was merely just giving her time.

The ONLY long term cure for her type of leukaemia is a successful stem cell transplant…

With much deliberation from her medical team (which included 40 professionals) mid May 2023 they finally decided Zoe was well enough to undertake a second stem cell transplant which is extremely uncommon and extremely risky.

Zoe didn’t hesitate at the opportunity!!!! And said yes, i’m in!!!!

Zoe was told there was a 25% chance of being permanently cured

Sadly, she relapsed right after the decision was made. Zoe built a resistance to the trial drug and there for it stopped working. Now the leukaemia is back and is aggressive.

This means she is no longer eligible for the second transplant. And she has been taken off all her medications. A huge devastation for Zoe.

2 weeks ago, she was hit with the news she only has (weeks) to live.

Zoe refuses to believe that timeline & will still NEVER give up hope, she has been working closely with a naturopath and will continue with her natural supplements. she is so brave, strong and resilient.

This disease has crippled her financially. She hasn't been able to work since the day she was diagnosed, and has exhausted all her back up money.

Zoe is a single mum, she has no superannuation left, and She feels she has nothing left but HOPE ✨

Her 2 children, Logan 16 and Lilly 17 are both working 2 jobs each, as well as going to school.. just to try help their mum and take the pressure off. It’s an awesome help, but also means their precious time together is greatly effected.

As a mother, all Zoe wants right now is to be able to provide them a reliable car that they can share - to get to work and school easily.

Please, please dig deep to help this beautiful, struggling, WARRIOR Mama to take one less worry off her amidst her whirlwind of anxiety, fear & desperation.

We never know if we will one day be in the same position fighting for our lives, and time with our kids. It’s heart breaking.

Zoe would do anything for anybody. She is beautiful in every single way. I can’t even imagine being in her shoes right now. You’re amazing Zo, I love you!
