In 2018, our beautiful and kind hearted mother, daughter and friend was diagnosed with breast cancer at just 27 years old. At the time Chrissy had a 1 year old little boy looking up to and dependant on her. She underwent 6 surgeries within 2 years including immediate bilateral mastectomy. Chrissy underwent 6 months of aggressive chemotherapy, 16 rounds in total to treat the cancer.

In 2019 Chrissy got the all clear and was cancer free.

Chrissy recently relocated to Melbourne to be closer to her friends and family. She has been able to successfully acquire her own home for her and her almost 5 year old son, set up a successful business and has been able to enjoy life and all the things that bring them both happiness.

Her world was rocked to the core on November 1st 2021 when doctors revealed Chrissy’s breast cancer had returned in her Lymph nodes. This has completely devastated us all as this dreadful journey begins for the second time. Chrissy will now have to go through another 5 months of aggressive chemotherapy as well as surgery to remove all her left sided lymph nodes as well as 1 year of herceptin infusions.

The financial burden of Chrissys diagnoses and yet again going through extensive medical treatment weighs heavily on her at this time. Being a single mother to her beautiful little boy Lachy and unable to operate her dog grooming business as the job puts her at an extremely high risk of contracting an infection means she needs all the help and support from her friends and loved ones to get through.

We have set up this page in the hopes that we are able to raise money to help alleviate the financial stresses and allow her to focus on her treatment without the financial worries, so she can kick this thing in the butt for a second time and go back to enjoying her beautiful life with her son!

Chrissy you are so so brave, you take everything in your stride with a smile on your face. You are always there to help the people you care about without a second thought, this time it’s our turn! We are so incredibly proud of you and we are all in your corner through this battle. We all love you so much and can’t wait to see you ring that bell again.
