Our waitress ❤️

Hi, my name is Haley!

I recently had an experience that moved me so deeply, I knew I wanted to do something.

While out to dinner, I asked our waitress if there was anything I could pray for. She paused and asked, "Do you have five minutes?" What followed was a moment I will never forget.

She shared that she’s currently working five jobs to support her family. One being a teacher at a local public school. She’s also a caregiver for her father, who suffered a stroke 20 years ago, and she was mentoring a young girl who tragically took her own life not long ago. Despite everything she’s carrying, she was kind, joyful, and full of light the entire evening. You never would’ve known the weight she bears each day.

I left that dinner heartbroken and inspired—heartbroken by all she’s going through, and inspired by the way she still pours into everyone around her. All I want to do is pour back into her.
