Our Wahweap driver Robin needs assistance!
Donation protected
As many of you have heard, Robin (our friend and cart driver at Wahweap for 4 years) has been diagnosed with cancer at 51 years old. She is currently undergoing a double mastectomy, non-cancerous & preventative hysterectomy and treatment for osteoporosis.
Fortunately, her insurance is covering the majority of her medical expenses – but not all. She is unable to come back to the marina this year and is having some financial hardships, which is to be expected.
Anybody who knows Robin knows that she is one of the kindest and most selfless people you will ever meet – going out of her way to help anybody.
Aside from being everyone’s friend at the marina, she is a seriously talented artist, with her art showcased in several galleries. It seems as if she has found her calling. Her work is featured at the Grand Circle in Page and the Florida Greco Art Gallery in Laughlin NV.
She has two beautiful children, the center of her world, Ezra, 23 and Shayla, 32.
Robin is not one to ask for help from others, even when she deserves it. She makes the marina a better place, she makes the world a better place.
When I discussed the GoFundMe with her, she was a little hesitant at first but admits she is struggling with general expenses (rent, utilities, etc). She is behind on rent ($2,000), as well as utilities. Thankfully, her landlord is working with her for now, but she needs to catch up.
She has fallen on hard times through no fault of her own. I’m hoping people will step up to help and relieve some of the financial stress involved with her situation.
Please keep her in your prayers as well. She attends Saint Margarets Catholic Church in Bullhead City.
Please share this with others who know her.
