Ambient Pasta is excited to begin its next chapter—expanding our community and projects through both our production company and music label. Ambient Pasta has been a community based project in the talent-rich area of NYC for over three years. We’ve created unique experiences for the public while opening opportunities for creators across multiple senses and artistic mediums. AP has always been a passion based project led by its core team—Dan, Tom, Julie Criblez, and Michael John Mimmo—who have donated their time and energy to bring its mission to life. It began with intimate gatherings in a beloved Bed-Stuy apartment, where musicians and chefs came together to share food and perform intimate shows for friends and family. The energy was so immense that the project grew naturally and outwardly in all directions.

Events across Brooklyn and Queens, alongside homemade pasta dinners paired with live ambient music, soon became a signature. Meanwhile, our online presence expanded under the direction of Daniel Criblez—supported by volunteer coders and freelance writers. AP quickly became an umbrella for creative projects: releasing music through Ambient Pasta Records, producing videos with AP Productions, and launching a creative blog filled with articles on local music, creative projects, and experimental events within our community’s orbit.

We are now in the process of establishing an LLC for our visual production company—offering film, video, and fine art services on a sliding scale to artists and collaborators. This branch will create paid opportunities for a roster of visual artists and foster exchanges across disciplines—uniting different worlds and mediums to create

something extraordinary. Beyond covering its own costs and supporting artists, this work has the potential to generate revenue to reinvest in future company projects and creative endeavors.

Under the same LLC, we are setting up a DBA for Ambient Pasta Records, formally launching the label to support musicians in releasing their work. The label’s mission is to provide a supportive platform that gives emerging artists the visibility they deserve.

Together, these two branches—led by brothers Dan and Tom Criblez—aim to continue Ambient Pasta’s narrative: cultivating open, safe spaces within the visual and musical industries. As always, it’s important for us to lead this journey with a genuine, collaborative, artist-driven model.
