Hello to all. As you all know, there is a horrible war going on in Ukraine. All of my wife's family lives in Odessa Ukraine. Shortly after Putin started dropping bombs on the innocent civillians of Ukraine, my wife's sister called us hysterical begging us to save our nephew, Illia. At the same time, My wife's grandmother called my wife begging her to save our younger sister Vika. Who would not run to save their family? Just like every authentic human would do, my wife and I immediately jumped on an airplane on March 3, 2022, and flew to Warsaw, Poland. We rented a car in Warsaw and drove to Przemysl railway station near the border of Ukraine in Poland. While my wife and I were flying to Poland, our two kids were in an evacuation train that ran once a day from Odessa, Ukraine to Prezmysl, Poland. Good thing they were on that train, because the one that left the very next day was unjustly attacked by the russians.

After a long trip for all of us, we were reunited!!! The happiness and excitement was overwhelming. We were actually hugging and kissing our family. However, this happiness was quickly extinguished when we realized that the U.S. governement was not going to do anything to help us get back home with our kids. We have now been stuck in Poland for 10 days. Every consulate and embassy we have been to has stonewalled us. In effect my wife and I have become refugees too, because we refuse to leave these kids in Poland alone. They have absolutely nobody except my wife and I.

My wife and I are hardworking citizens. We built two businesses and have 2 children. We had to leave all that behind in the states. We live in California and our expenses are astronomical!! Everyday in Poland we are spending over $300 USD to house, clothe, and feed all four of us. We are watching our lives and everything we built go down the drain! Our resources are quickly running out. It is only by God's grace that we have been able to sustain two businesses, our family at home, and all four of us in Poland this long. My wife and I are U.S. citizens, and our own government told us to leave the kids alone and come home if we want. We are not heartless and fake. Who would NEVER leave a 16 and 19 year old that have limited international experience, if any at all, alone in a foreign country with no money, no car, no clothes, no home, and most importantly, no family? My wife and I will never do it! Even if we have to lose it all. We could never live with ourselves. We know God will make a way for us!
