I just wanted to let all of my family and friends know that I need everyone to keep my mom in their prayers. She has had a really rough year with her leg. She is on surgery #4 and has now decided to let them take her leg from mid thigh. Her leg is massively infected and the strong meds caused her kidneys to shut down and the leg is extremely painful. She struggled with the decision for awhile and finally decided that this was best. Even giving herself 2 different antibiotics thru a pic line 4 times a didn’t help. They are doing everything they can to make her feel better but if u know my mom than u know she does not do Immobility well. She has been very weak and constantly cold and the doctors said that she was loosing a lot of blood. I have been staying with her to help take care of the house, the Daycare and her 2 grandkids she is raising and also to make sure that she relaxes but she is not doing well with the relaxing part at all. I have been doing everything in my power to make her relax and chill but if you know my mother, than u know that it's almost impossible for her to relax and take a break. Unfortunately that is just one of the problems that she has been going through. She is not only my mom, she is my best friend and I am so use to her being bubbly and constantly happy and upbeat and now she is always tired and cranky. I know she is absolutely sick and tired of feeling like this. She is so use to being super woman and handling anything that comes her way. She never gets sick and now for the last year she is constantly fighting one battle and then another and trying to hide it from the world. I am just hoping & praying that she gets thru this with very few battle scars. Please pray for my mom.

I was hesitant to post anything in the first place but I was desperate for all the love and energy to be focused on my mom. I believe that all the prayers got us where we are today so please keep sending all the love and prayer. My moms FAITH is unshakable and that’s why I know with all your help she WILL CONQUER THIS…!!! We decided to do a Benefit/BBQ as a family gathering. Chicken / Ribs / Pulled Pork and if everyone brings a covered dish we will celebrate and enjoy each other. It will be June 27 @ 2:00 at the Lions club in Homosassa. We are trying to raise $$$ for a electric chair, carrier and ramps for house and daycare. I believe the “family” gathering will lift her spirits and give her more strength to endure the rough months ahead. PLEASE COME AND JOIN US… Thank you!
