Our tricia

Hi everyone 

Our mum tricia was diagnosed in 2023 with stage 4 breast cancer, at the time the news was devastating but we looked for the positives and was told that mum could be on tablet form chemotherapy and was told mum can live a life for years to come so we had hope. Then in november 2023, we had another set back of the devastating news that the cancer had spread to mums spine and back of her skull, as you can imagine our hearts was shattered yet again but we was still given some hope that this wasn't the end and if they could manage mum's pain, she could still manage to live a good life. Mum unfortunately suffered with alot of pain throughout the next few weeks and some days it was unbearable for her, with a massive help from our local hospice they took mum in to try and get her pain under control. Mum was at the hospice for a couple a weeks and then one day mum had taken a turn, which was put down to infection. Mum was then taken into hospital and day by day her health detonated infection after infection and she was unable to fight them off due to the chemotherapy she had received. After a couple weeks in hospital we had learned that mum was just unable to fight the infections off, and unfortunately the cancer had spread further to her soft tissue within her stomache. Again our hearts were even more broken and we didnt know what was next as the chemotherapy could not restart because mum had no immune system. A few days later mum detoriated more with multiple infections taking over her body. As a family we knew we was slowly losing our mum and the decision was made for mum to comfortable and be place on end of life care. At that point we were struggling emotionally and physically knowing the moment will come that our mum will pass away. Later that night Tricia lost her battle to cancer on 19.02.2024

Amongst the heartbreak and grief the family are feeling we want to give Tricia the send off she deserves

We know how much Tricia means to everyone who met her 

Unfortunately Tricia did not have any plans in place for a funeral We had a thought of starting the go fund me to ease the stress on Larry and family any support big or small will be greatly appreciated
