Our treasured Cheryl Meyer had a massive stroke!

Hello friends, My name is Laura Washington and I am PROUD to be considered a friend of Cheryl Meyer. If you know Cheryl you know she is the most beautiful woman inside and out. She would give you her last $10 even if it meant she skipped lunch that day. And there is nothing she wouldn't do for her husband Mike Canalas and for her daughter Ariella Marlow. Cheryl has suffered from a Massive Stroke and has been in the hospital ICU for 2 weeks now. On top of the stroke, she was also diagnosed with Covid. Since she has been in the hospital, she is has been non-responsive to the care she has been given. She is unable to communicate at this time and thus far we know she has lost the control of the right side of her body. Mike and Ariella are not permitted at this time to visit her. We all know that what is needed to bring her back to consciousness and to motivate her towards recovery is for Ariella to climb into Chery's bed and talk to her. If Cheryl can hear but not communicate, hearing Ariella's voice would bring her back to us. During this very difficult time, Mike is taking an extended leave of absence from work to care for Ariella. He is using the FMLA to tend to his family but as you know, this is unpaid leave. Cheryl has been in the ICU at costs of thousands and thousands of dollars each day and she has been there for 2 weeks with no sign of improvement as of now. If you are reading this, please say a prayer for Cheryl, Mike and Ariella, even if you don't believe in prayer, Cheryl does and would appreciate the gesture.
