Our Tiny Chefs Family Needs Your Support
Donation protected
On March 13th, when schools began closing and programs & events began to cancel, Tiny Chefs felt the direct impact of COVID-19.
Tiny Chefs services families all over the D.C. Metro area, as south as Prince William County, and as north as Baltimore City/Annapolis, MD. Our goal is to spread the joy and passion of cooking to children all over, that share these same passions & want to expand their culinary world. We do this in the form of after-school enrichment classes, in-home birthday parties, cooking classes, and in-house field trips within schools.
Effective Monday, VA Governor, Ralph Northam, announced that all VA schools would be closed for the remaining academic year. It is possible that MD and DC schools follow this same decision, as the spread of COVID-19 continues.
While we have been out of operations, many of you have asked what you can do to support us during this time. We appreciate all the photos of your Tiny Chefs cooking in their kitchens and the shares on social media!
With the sudden stop of our operations, and the future scheduled programs now cancelled, our employees and their families are now feeling a direct impact from COVID-19. To this end, we have started this GoFundMe that will send 100% of donated funds to our employees effected by these changes. With these funds, they would be able to buy food, pay their rent, medical expenses, and provide any necessities to their families.
Our chef instructors that this will go back to are: Ms. Tara, Ms. Adena, Ms. Toni, Ms. Tina, Ms. Valessia, Ms. Ann, Ms. Gayle, Ms. Kayla, Ms. Carolyn, Ms. Sadia, Ms. Theresa, Ms. Andrea, Ms. Jacquie, Ms. Robin, Ms. Athena, Ms. Mejgan, Ms. Tatyanna, Ms. Lynn, Ms. Joy, Ms. Lizzy, Ms. Jen, Ms. Tamara, Ms. Colleen, Ms. Janelle, Mr. Wayan, Ms. Rovena.
Thank you for your support.
Thank you for being so generous.
Thank you for your love of Tiny Chefs and everything that we do.
We hope you stay safe and healthy, and we will be back in the "kitchen" soon!
With love,
Tiny Chefs
