One of our team leaders at Ace of Oakland and Ace of Dawson, Ariel (32) suffered an unexpected medical emergency last week. After a bad headache and neck pain that she tried to fix with the help of the chiropractor, Ariel suffered a massive stroke and several mini strokes after a blood clot got dislodged and went to her brain. Thankfully, Ariel was at the chiropractor's office when the event took place and they were able to respond quickly. After being air lifted to Columbus and then to Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta, she was able to get the medical attention she needed. Since last week, she has been in the ICU with several medical procedures to dissolve the blood clot and to repair a tear in her artery. Thankfully she has responded well to everything that has been done! She has had the best "witty attitude" with all of the unexpected events that have taken place over the last week and is optimistic on making a full recovery! She has a long road ahead and alot of unexpected medical bills and the unknown of what her new normal will look like. We would love to support her with as much help as possible!
