Help our teacher Becca fight brain cancer.

Hello our names are Isabelle (age 9) and Aoife (age 7) and we are climbing Mount Snowdon on 4th October in order to raise money for our teacher Becca to help support her fight against brain cancer. We will be hiking up the Llanberis path which is the longest route to take, this is a total climb of 3,199ft with distance of just over 9 miles.

Becca works as a teacher at our primary school and she was Aoife's teacher when she was in year 1, and what a truly amazing teacher and person she is. Over the last 2 years Becca has been there welcoming us into school on a morning with a smile on her face, always chatting to us and our parents.

Becca is just 26 years old and has been diagnosed with stage 4 terminal astrocytoma brain cancer, not only is she a teacher, but she is also a mum to her young daughter Eliza.

Becca has already undergone surgery to have a 4cm tumour removed and is currently ready to start 6 weeks of daily radiotherapy alongside chemotherapy then this will be followed by 6 further rounds of chemotherapy. This is the best treatment currently available on the NHS for Becca but this may not be enough so we are raising money to help support her getting other alternatives.  There will be clinical trials, private treatments and therapies that should give her more time and a better quality of life, and this is where she needs our help! The costs of these treatments and the travel required are far, far, far beyond what Becca can manage alone.

You can find more information on her main GoFundMe account "Together for Becca- fighting brain cancer"

Any donation however big or small is greatly received, we would also really appreciate you sharing Becca's story so we can reach as many people as possible.
Thank you for reading.
