Our school community has been devastated by the loss of one of our most precious students, our sweet Raymond. All children are magical, but this kid was truly special ⭐ I first met Raymond 10 years ago when he entered my classroom as a toddler at his big brother's parent-teacher conference. Even then, he was remarkable in every way. When he was in second grade, he won our school's T-shirt contest with a beautiful drawing of a Meadowlark and the words, "Dream Big, Work Hard, Never Give Up." That's exactly what he always did. I always felt like a shadow in his light, and I was the luckiest teacher in the world to call him mine this year. We all loved him so, so much.

Raymond passed away last Friday after a long battle with cancer. As his family members support each other through this awful time, our Meadowlark community is doing what we can to raise these funds in support of his family. Thank you so much for your love, generosity, and support
